Outreach

Concerning knowledge transfer, we make strong efforts in terms of outreach activities. This is exemplified by the very frequent appearance in newspaper articles or radio/TV interviews, as well as by several hundreds of outreach events, organized and realized by the various group members over the last two decades. This includes talks for the general public, guided tours at CERN and outreach activities with high-school teachers and pupils, for example in the context of the European Master Classes.

A particular recent highlight has been Prof. Dissertori’s role as scientific advisor for the design of the new 200 CHF banknote.
